Coffee Junction (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs the coffee shop at 22 The Gallery, Meadowhall Shopping Centre, Sheffield S9 1EP and this website, coffeejunction.co.uk. We respect your privacy and only collect the information we need. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who is responsible for your data
Coffee Junction is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at info@coffeejunction.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Contact form and emails. When you send us a message we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. We use this only to reply to you and deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working properly.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Some pages include an embedded Google Map to help you find us; Google may set its own cookies when the map loads, under Google’s privacy policy. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need to deal with your message and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless we need to keep them longer for a legal reason. Job applications are kept for up to 6 months.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To make a request, email info@coffeejunction.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
